This is my first attempt at using Alkyd Oil paints plein-air. What a challenge too! Luckily, I'd been experimenting for the past few months indoors to get a feel for them. I like their behaviour. They dry relatively quickly, which I like.
This is the Oberstown Bridge near Sallins. I thought it would make a spectacular location and subject. I'm not to happy with the composition, but I like the overall colours and brushwork.
